Historia rozwoju narzędzi CAT
Abstrakt
The article discusses the history of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools. The author recalls the invention of the Soviet scientist Piotr Smirnov-Trojanski, a pioneer of machine-assisted translation. The body of the article traces the development of machine translation, MT and translation memory, TM. The author discusses the history of the creation of computer translation techniques, especially machine translation, also indicating the risks that may arise when using CAT tools.
